Job Purpose:

• To contribute to the work of a residential and supported living group home as a team player with Right Support Management, to meet the highest quality standards of care and the requirements of the relevant local authority’s Care Homes Inspection Unit, ensuring that the resident’s needs are met.
• Under the direction of the Service Manager, and senior support workers, support and empower residents to develop skills that ensure they experience the highest possible quality of life.

Abstract on main duties and responsibilities:

• • • Maintain good relationships with residents, their families and advocates,
    • Ensure that they are consulted and supported through changes / developments that may affect residents’ lives
    • Ensure that residents are fully involved in decision-making processes that affect their lives.
    • Assist residents where necessary with feeding and personal care
    • Protect residents and contribute to protect them from abuse
    • Support and enable residents to achieve their full potential in all forms of communication.
